Very much a smallholders pig. Hardy and docile.

Thrives outdoors. Lop - eared and spotted.

Small, very docile and easy to handle.

Comes in a variety of colours, Loves human company and make an excellent pet.

 

 

 

 

Large Black

 

Status : VULNERABLE

 

Britain`s only all - black pig. Large, long, deep body and very large lop ears.

Good mother qualities. Capable of rearing large litters. More of a bacon pig.

 

 

 

 

Middle White

 

Status : VULNERABLE

 

Completely white with prick ears. Very distinctive with its dished nose.

Trends to root less than others breeds. Placid.

Happy outdoors, but remember - white pigs will suffer from sunburn !

 

 

 

 

Tamworth

 

Status : ENDANGERED

 

Long body, long head and snout. Ginger and prick - eared.

Very vocal ! Highly inquisitive by nature. Boisterous.

A great dual - purpose pig.
